How to Play

Play Victor and Valentino Stretched Case online for free. Stretched Case is a 15-stage obstacle course where you control Marionette doll versions of the brothers connected by a rubber band. Will you be able to help them reach and defeat the evil puppeteer Chip? This game is rendered in mobile-friendly HTML5, so it offers cross-device gameplay. You can play it on mobile devices like Apple iPhones, Google Android powered cell phones from manufactures like Samsung, tablets like the iPad or Kindle Fire, laptops, and Windows-powered desktop computers. All game files are stored locally in your web browser cache. This game works in Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Opera and other modern web browsers.

Starting the Game

Click on the white triangle on the game load screen.
- This will play a cut scene then bring up the game welcome screen.
- Click on the brown square wooden button on the game’s welcome screen.
  - This will bring up the level select screen.
  - Each of the 15 levels is only unlocked after you beat all prior levels.
  - The welcome screen contains the following buttons:
    - developer info – upper left corner
    - sound control – upper right corner
    - cutscene – lower left corner
    - Your web browser automatically saves your beat levels and your star rating on each level.
      - You can replay previously beat levels to try to obtain a higher star rating on them.
      - Game Controls
        Desktop
        Use your mouse left click button to have Victor move forward along the path.
        Release the left click to stop moving Victor and have Valentino quickly snap into position behind him.
        While the mouse is pressed the distance between Victor and Valentino grows to a wide gap and it shrinks to a small space as Valentino catches back up.
        Touchscreen devices
        Tap the screen to use your finger like the mouse.
        This game has a timing meter with a star rating at the top of the screen. If these meter reaches zero the game does not end, but you only score 1 star for beating the level.
        The upper right corner of the screen has a pause button.
        Game Play
        Movement
        In this game you do not control the direction Victor and Valentino move as they follow the puppeteer’s footprints.
        The only thing you control is when they move, how fast they move, and how far they move in each movement.
        Dying
        If any of the enemies or projectiles they throw hit you then you die.
        You die if they hit Victor, Valentino, or the rubber band which connects them.
        Green ooze
        If you stop over the top of the green ooze and fall in you die.
        If you stop on a board which breaks you will then fall into the green ooze and die.
        Piñatas
        Think of piñatas as save points.
        If you are in a level without any piñatas you start at the beginning of the level if you get hit.
        If the level you are in has a piñata you have reached then you will start at the piñata when you get hit.
        Some of the later levels have multiple piñatas in them.
        Star Ratings
        The color of the level on the level select screen indicates your star rating score.
        Gold is 3 stars.
        Silver is 2 stars.
        Redish bronze is 1 star.
        If you beat slowly you still score 1 star on it even if the timing meter at the top of the screen runs out.
        Strategy
        General
        Try to break larger problems into more concrete and discrete smaller units.
        If you try to move a long distance through many obstacles at once the rubber band will be fully stretched, which gives your opponents a large cross section to hit.
        Move quickly when in safe areas and slow down with many shorter movements when you are near the edge of a dangerous area or in the middle of a dangerous area where precision is required.
        In some cases some parts of levels can only be beat one portion at a time with mandatory delays in between, while other parts of the game require you to make multiple moves consecutively.
        Always think about where is the next safe space when in a complex area.
        End boss
        The end boss is quite hard.
        On the final level you have to face Chip the puppeteer twice.
        You do not actually hit the end boss, but rather chase him into his box as he repeatedly throws 3 puppet controls at you.
        Try to make small moves ahead of him throwing then try to make a large move which puts you out of the angle of his throws near one of the edges.
        Try to ensure your next long move when he throws is more horizontal rather than vertical.
        Repeat this process 3 or 4 times until you are past him.
        Target Audience
        The game is suited for Victor & Valentino fans of all ages.
        The game has no adult themed content.
